The University of London Certificate of Higher Education in Common Law听(CertHE) is a one-year programme which once successfully completed will allow matriculation into the second year of the University of London Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme.

The CertHE Common Law is a qualification in its own right that also provides an entry route to degree study. The modules studied in the CertHE Common Law听are the same as the Level 4 modules of the LLB.

Persons who possess only CXCs or CSEC subjects must start with the Certificate of Higher Education in Common Law (CertHE) programme and then matriculate to the LLB.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for entry into the Certificate in Higher Education in Common Law programme candidates must have one of the following requirements:

Minimum 5 GCE O'Level or CXC subjects with passes at A, B or C / 1 or 2 (including English Language). Participants with CXC passes at level 3 since 1998 are also eligible.
Three (3) GCE O鈥檒evels or CXCs (including English Language) plus Paralegal qualification from a recognized institution.

Mature entry may be considered
All applicants are required to demonstrate oral and written competence in English Language

This programme is one year in duration.
